-3- that the large core engine has an appreciable higher B.M.E.P. particularly at high speeds. It will be noticed that the power peaks at a higher speed. Results so far appear very promising because the modifications are such that without much trouble could be applied to the Std. engine. The tests are not yet completed and we next hope to shew the value of each of the above modifications which should give an indication of how far we should go with these items.
