X/LT/5. 11th July 1930. Dear Sirs, Your Ref: EFP.1/AD We thank you for your letter of the 23rd ult., above reference, in which you acknowledge the receipt of the two-way foot operated switch, our type FS.{F. Steele}12, and we note that you find this switch of an interesting design, but that you are not certain whether it would be of much permanent use for heavy current. We have had a test of this switch taken by our Laboratory, and have pleasure in attaching herewith a copy of the Laboratory report for your attention, and remarks. With regard to the curve of the Lucas C.5. Dynamo output, we have noted your remarks in connection with the curve we recently despatched to you, and wish to inform you that we sent to you a curve taken under the normal conditions and following the usual method which we adopt here for such a procedure. After carefully noting your remarks we proceeded to have a curve of this Lucas C.5. Dynamo output taken under the conditions etc., which you point out in your letter of the 23rd ult. We have pleasure, therefore, in attaching herewith a copy of this curve for your examination, etc. Trusting the above items will be satisfactory to you. We are, Yours faithfully, JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED. ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT. F.G. Toulmin [STAMP: RECEIVED 12 JUL 1930] | ||
