To obtain information at first hand and to prevent unnecessary work being carried out at Depots I would suggest that all Shock Dampers found faulty on P.III and 25/30 be returned to the Works for RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}'s Department to deal with. The Depots to replace by dampers passed by the Works. This would cut out a lot of interference that is now carried on.
