Jigs & Tools - Chassis Production.

At the last chassis meeting at
Belper, Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} asked for particulars as to the chassis material
available for completing cars.

The records are such that, though
we have been trying to get the information almost continuously
since the meeting, we shall possibly have the B.V. figures
next week.

In the course of sorting this job
out, I went down to Slack Lane where the jigs and tools for
chassis production are stored. I was appalled at their
condition. I cannot find out who is responsible for looking
after them, but I am afraid that the majority are so rusty that
whatever is done to them now, they will be scrap. The same
applies to various chassis materials such as pistons.
