X.6016. TWO-RATE CHARGE SCHEME. X.6004.

In connection with bringing up-to-date the two-rate charge scheme on various experimental chassis i.e. make the systems on these chassis similar to the one on Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car 58-GN, will you please arrange to have the alteration made to the switchbox of each of 22-EX, 24-EX and 27-EX in accordance with D.O. instruction EY/RD6/Wl.1.31.

With regard to the question of medium output dynamos, we have two of these in preparation - these will be allotted to 22-EX and 27-EX. In regard to 24-EX, this being a L.H. chassis the dynamo is slightly different in regard to its external fixing features (dowel and strap) and we have not a machine to replace. It should therefore be arranged for this machine to be removed to have its modified poles replaced with unmodified poles, duly tested by ourselves and then replaced on the car.
