Lp.{Mr Lappin} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 200 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/ML.7.1.41. CLUTCH PEDAL. We understand that you have altered the clutch pedal setting on your car. We went to considerable trouble to fit a special type of thrust race and to determine the durability of this, it was necessary that the pedals should be up against the boards. I believe the experiment was explained fully to you before you took the car away. If you are not prepared to run experiments like this for us, but take the car down to Hythe Road to have it altered, in future we recommend that you get the car entirely handled by Hythe Road.
