For the attention of Mr. West HFW 86116 Dipping & Automatically Swivelling Headlights WST Sept 4th /34 Dear Sirs On May 1st I had the pleasure of showing my apparatus to your Mr. H.E. West & Mr. Mathason & gathered at the demonstration that they thought it both simple & efficient. Further it was agreed between us in the event of fitting automatically swivelling lights that it would be undesirable to swivel one light only keeping the other fixed although this compromise would involve a saving in cost. With reference to manufacture of my apparatus, I regret that negotiations with Messrs Lucas have been unsatisfactory although prolonged & it is only quite recently that I have been in a position to see Messrs Butlers of Birmingham. You will remember you were good enough to suggest my approaching that firm. On Aug. 30th I showed my apparatus at their works & it was agreed that their Mr. Hayward would be seeing your representative within the next ten days. | ||
