To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c to E [handwritten] Y457 [handwritten] Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG17.8.25. HIGH SPEED STEERING WOBBLES. Y457 [handwritten] With reference to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M14.8.25 - question 2. Herewith alterations of road speed at which wobbles occur made by varying tyre pressures. These were carried out on a Phantom car (98-NK). It will be observed that while the speed at which the wxxxxx wobbles occur when accelerating is fairly definite, wobbles on the retard are spread over a wider range. Some of the variations experienced are undoubtedly due to road surface. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
