The following new parts have been received and fitted at 8,646 miles. One pair Lucas Windtone Horns (Standard outside type) in place of existing Windtone horns. One Triangular Stay from bottom of Gearbox to engine, in place of existing standard top stay. One Oil level Indicator complete with special cork float, in place of standard fitting. The engine has been decarbonised pending the fitting of new exhaust valves. The carbon deposit was normal for the mileage.
