BRANDS: LOHYS SPECIAL LOHYS MEDIUM RESISTANCE STALLOY INSULINE REPRESENTATIVE: ROBERT JENKINS, ULSTER CHAMBERS, 168, REGENT STREET, LONDON, W.1. REFERENCE B DEPT. 179. EWR. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ld. D E R B Y. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} West. We are in receipt of your letter of the 10th.inst., Ref. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.6/MA. enclosing Blue Prints Nos. D.73840, D.70984, and D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 70204, showing the Armature Plates and Armature assembly. As we promised we will make you up a sample Core both in "Stalloy" and "Lohys". On looking at the assembly drawing we notice that the slots are cut at an angle. Do you actually require this in the slotted washer, or can we put the slots in radial? We are sorry we are unable to assemble the plates on the Armature shaft as this would require a special fixture, which is rather outside our line of business. We hope to get you the Cores through in about seven days time, and should like to have your reply with regard to the position of the slots as soon as possible. Yours faithfully, for JOSEPH SANKEY & SONS LD. [Signature] Director. ALL STEEL SUPPLIED BY US IS OF BRITISH MANUFACTURE THROUGHOUT. [Stamp: NATIONAL SCHEME FOR DISABLED MEN] | ||
