Dear Sirs,

Many thanks for your letter of the 31st. ult. and I read your description with interest. Fundamentally it agrees with my own interpretation, but the point I was trying to make was that on your drawings the permissible movement of the bellows top plate appears very small. However, satisfactory operation could no doubt be obtained by suitably setting the adjusting screw.

We should like to modify our instructions over the 'phone, and order two sample valves for experimental purposes, and we should also like the cost in quantities of 50 and 200.
