31st January, 1941.

Dear Hives,

I have just had a letter from Lapin to say that he is very pleased we are going to test your 40mm gun.

I have handed over all the arrangements for carrying out the installation between yourselves and Vickers to my Air Gunnery Technical Board, the president of which is Admiral Osborne, and members - W/Cdr.{W. J. Chandler - Chief Clerk} Spreckley and Cdr.{W. J. Chandler - Chief Clerk} Bilney.

I hope you will be hearing from them in due course.

If you are down this way, do come in and we can discuss any outstanding points.

Yours sincerely,

P. Huskinson.

E.W. Hives Esq.,
