Voller S/W. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Vr{E. S. Voller - Orders}/RJC16/WL28.7.36. We have an enquiry from the American Ambassador's chauffeur regarding the types of oil to be used in a 4¼ litre chassis in America. According to him, the oils specified in the Instruction Book are unobtainable in some parts of the U.S. whereas Essolube is on sale everywhere. What he requires to know, therefore, is the types of Essolube corresponding to the oils we recommend, and as we understand that you have recently returned from a tour of U.S. with a Bentley, we were wondering if you could supply this information. Alternatively, if you know of any other easily obtainable oil which is likely to prove more suitable for use in our chassis, perhaps you will kindly advise us. VR.{E. S. Voller - Orders} | ||
