Scale Buoys.

With reference to Cr.{Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester}12/RB.{R. Bowen}20.6.35, we should like to have some rather more technical information as to what these Scale Buoys are; i.e., the pamphlet enclosed really gives no scientific reason why these devices should work.

In the case of our cars it is doubtful whether these Scale Buoys are necessary even if they work, because some years ago when we were troubled with corrosion we instituted a special treatment for the cylinder block and cylinder head which protected them against corrosion. Furthermore, the anti-spill radiator caps prevents air entering the system and so keeps corrosion down to the minimum.
