The front shock damper will require scaling down from the B.V. size in order to clear the frame member.

Brakes 10" dia. and 1 1/2" wide have been assumed and the Studebaker type pivot has been drawn with ball and taper roller thrust bearing. It is intended that the caster angle shall be obtained by tilting the whole suspension assembly in relation to the frame, and this obviously implies that some easy form of adjustment in this suspension-frame mounting is desirable.

The anti-roll rod position is subject to revision depending upon the final steering layout and possibly to some extent on the frontal appearance and the frame arms forward of the wheels.

Bump and rebound each of 3 1/2" give the same total front wheel movement as on B.V. Ground clearance under the front pan on full bump is approx. 4 3/4" (7 1/4" normal laden position).

With the 15.5" dimension shown between front wheel centre line and back of dash it is possible to drop the sump, as shown by the dotted lines, always provided that the setscrews securing this sump can be undone.

These rather disconnected notes are intended to give an idea of the suspension rather than a complete picture, which is impossible at this stage.
