To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C. to P.J. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} C. to R.{Sir Henry Royce} E.A. C. to D.Y. OR ORIGINAL Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG27.12.28. 20 HP. X5841 X5770 The 20 HP. 14-G-4 left Derby today and will arrive in France tomorrow. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} is going with the car as far as Chateauroux and will return as soon as he has handed it over to Mr.Hancock. We have fitted a new engine unit to this car since it was at WW. This later unit is an improvement as regards silence and power. We still however are worried with the oscillation on the front of the car. This matter is being investigated on 12-G-4 and we hope to let you have a report on it shortly. We have gone far enough to know that it will not be overcome easily. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
