-2- Contd. We now have running :- (1) A thinner scrubbing arm of the original long Lec.2422 type, the thickness tapering from the support end down to the point end. (2) Original type scrubbing action to Lec.2422 (i.e. with original thickness of arm) running with the quick break cam, and so far going very well. The reason we are running the above combination is largely that all the available scrubbing action parts to Lec.2460/1 have been put on experimental chassis and no more are at present available. Though we should have preferred to have kept to the Lec.2460 type for these various tests, it has appeared that there is not a great deal of difference between these various types of scrubbing action.
