The Nivex Gauge Co. Ltd.,
Tipping Street,
Ardwick,
MANCHESTER.

Dear Sirs,

Our preliminary tests of this instrument have been satisfactory and we should like to try out one on the 20 HP. car.

We enclose a drawing of the 20 HP. tank and an approximate calibration thereof. We also enclose one of the Cambridge Thermometers that will indicate our standard finish. We should be obliged if you would return this to us.

We are forwarding to you one of our existing tank units and armoured hoses. We should like you to supply us with armoured air lines of this type, and tank fittings adapted to carry the armoured cable.

Whilst you are making up a set for the 20 HP. car, we suggest that you produce a second set for our 40/50.

We should like the head of both instruments to be of the smaller size, similar to gauge No.174628 which you sent us for inspection, and all pipe connections to be of the metal union type.

We should be obliged if you would return the parts we are sending to you for inspection at your earliest convenience.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
