CHASSIS WEIGHT.

Average chassis weight, complete with oil, water, petrol & tyres 2100 series is 3115 lbs.

This weight varies according to strength of springs used, ie
Heaviest sprung car 3140 lbs, average 3115 lbs.
Lightest " " 3090 "

Average 2000 chassis 3075 lbs, ie 30 lbs increase.

The weight is therefore still increasing in spite of again returning to the standard small flywheel.

The following are a few interesting figures showing increase or decrease in weight of improvements to 2100 series as compared with the corresponding parts on 2000 series.

Rear springs complete with shackles brackets, fixings etc. increase 40 lbs
Frame strutts(these were fixed from 2090 ) increase 30 lbs

This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers.
