X. 6016 To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to R.{Sir Henry Royce} EFC. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} PN.{Mr Northey} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} re Dynamo Output - Two Charge Scheme. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E23.1.31 X. 6016 X. 6004 Referring to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/E21.1.31 relative to the above, I am pleased to see from BY's memo. which you have sent me that all chassis in the Works have already been changed over to the general scheme of 58-GN and that the alteration is a simple one and not very expensive. I think that perhaps the remarks made in the first paragraph of my letter are open to misinterpretation. What I intended to convey was not that we had arrived at perfection in regard to output but that as regards the dynamos of the two charge scheme variety of the type to which I understand we are committed, the compromise as fitted up on 58-GN seemed to be satisfactory. I understand that we are experimenting - and quite agree that we should - in order to obtain still more satisfactory results. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
