To H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} From EH. C. to PH. 1st PROD. ATW CHASSIS - HARD SPOTS ON PISTONS ORIGINAL X.3400 RE ALUMINIUM PISTONS FOR 40/50 CHASSIS. The pistons which have been run on the first production chassis, shew that they have been bearing hard, locally, round the gudgeon pin hole. We think this is most probably due to a slight burr being made when driving in the gudgeon pins. We recommend that the pistons should be cleared away for 1/4" all round the gudgeon pin hole. EH. | ||
