In reply to the queries of your memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}2/JAB. (1) The special springs Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}260-1-6 and EB.3256-7-12 were transferred from the original head and fitted to the standard production head you now have on this car. (2) We could not transfer the S.65 Inlet valves from the special head to the present standard head as they are different lengths. Existing are present production S/SLV inlet valves, for although S.65 is now standard the S/SLV valves in stock had to be used up. Standard KE.965 exhaust valves are fitted EB.2970 (3) The special coppered rocker shaft was transferred and is now on your car. (4) The original Thermoid linings are still on the clutch.
