FROM JOHN MARSTON LIMITED, WOLVERHAMPTON. Reply to be addressed to John Marston Limited For the attention of CBS/PB. 27th April, 1939. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, DERBY. For the attention of Mr. Edwards. Dear Sir, Referring to your letter of the 26th instant in which you ask us to proceed with the Wraith 80 radiator to the latest details which we left with the writer on Tuesday - are we to take it that this instruction supersedes that given to us by you verbally, i.e. to hold up work on these new details until limits etc., had been checked. Also we are not quite clear as to whether you wish us to only make up the new pieces to the modified drawings and with the aid of these bring your Wraith 80 radiator up to date, or whether you intend us to build a completely new up-to-date Wraith 80 unit - the shell and shutters of course are made by ourselves. If you will confirm exactly what is required we will put the work in hand immediately. We should however like to have an idea as to when you will be requiring this unit. Yours faithfully, C.S. STEADMAN. DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER. DW 929 | ||
