To C. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X.3926 RE GOODWEAR TYRES With reference to your memo. ref. C31/ML3.9.20., we have one complaint against the Goodyear diamond tread tyres, that is, the fact that they affect the steering of the car. This effect of course disappears as the tread wears down. We think all you can do is to warn customers of the effect they are likely to get with these tyres. We have no doubt that only a small percentage of our customers would ever notice the effect. We are quite in agreement as regards the wearing qualities of these tyres and consider that they are at least equal to the best we know of. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
