Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/TWD.{T. W. D???Aeith} BY/SS.{S. Smith} X4586 BY15/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 13.12.26. [STAMP: RECEIVED 13 DEC 1926] ARTILLERY TYPE STEEL WHEELS. The Order Office inform us they are just sending across to your Department the first set of 20 HP steel artillery type wheels suitable for well base rims and front wheel brakes. It is important that we should get some information on these as soon as possible, either by the bumper or running on the road, as at the moment we are unable to meet customers' demands for well base rims on the steel artillery type wheels. In regard to the 40/50 HP. a set of wheels suitable for the lightened front axle will be delivered towards the end of the week, with hubs complete in this case. We would like to remind you that these demand special pivots for the front axle; particulars of these have been issued to piece numbers G.75061-2. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} 1804 | ||
