Re Front Axle Pivots.

As you are probably aware, we have had two breakages on front axle pivots. One occurred on 1600E (De Salamanca) and the other one on a car belonging to M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} St.Alery, the parts of which have not yet come to hand.
Mr Johnson is particularly anxious that we should, without delay, carry out tests to destruction on one of our standard front axle pivots.
The pivot should be mounted approx. in the same way as on the car and loaded until it breaks. I am asking Mr Moon to get out a sketch of some suitable rigging for holding the pivot whilst it is being loaded.
I also think it advisable to carry out some reverse stress tests on this piece, in a similar way to those carried out on the torque tube test, and I am
