Will you please fit the following to the above car before it goes away. (1) 5/16 dia. push rods EW.1690. (2) Hexagon headed screw O.56177 and lock plate KB.2951 to be fitted to rocker shaft pedestal in place of present cheese-headed screw and Alum washer. The above entails slight mod. to the pedestal EW.846 (Alt.19471). Along with other spares which are to go to France in connection with the 15,000 miles test of this car will you please include the following for the unit. (1) Cam balancer plungers and springs which have been removed. (2) 6 valve springs which are in Swedish wire to EB.3256 as supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} (3) 2 exhaust valves E.61299 and 2 inlet valves EW.1429. (4) 2 standard 30 H.P. pistons complete with rings. (5) 2 Connecting rods complete with bearings of same bore dimension as existing in unit. 1 connecting with thin section flanged bearing and 1 with thin section non flanged bearing.
