W/N.........J.L.E. from A.A. 1782 AA. {D. Abbot Anderson} 1/LT.5.3.41. I went and saw Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /GB. yesterday afternoon regarding petrol for your trips to and from London, and he tells me it is impossible to supply you with coupons from this end, but advises that Br. {T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} should approach the local Petroleum Officer and ask for a small bulk supply of coupons, say 100 gallons a month. Coupons issued under this scheme are only available for use on the Company's business and it also prevents you from claiming for supplementary rations in the usual way. I use the scheme up here and find it good. Hope this helps you. A.A. | ||
