Re Cotton Cone Clutches. Mr Hives. Will you kindly press on with your experiments which are for the purpose of proving the superiority or otherwise of the cotton belting cone clutches over the leather cone. The point which we have some doubt about is whether the cotton fabric will fray badly when it is worn down, say 1/16", or whether the binding material or the method of weaving will prevent this action taking place. Can you also prove definitely that the cotton will not burn out so easily as the leather. X356 | ||
