Austin (yellow wheels & plug look)

AUSTIN 8.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/ML.7.1.41.

In view of the fact that the Austin used about half a gallon of oil coming up from London, before we do the performance test on this car we should remove the bottom half and inspect the pistons and rings.

It seems to be conceivable that, owing to the fact that the car has stood for a long time, the rings are gummed up.
