Dear Mr. Robinson,

Confirming our telephone conversation, I shall hope to be at the A.E.C. Works to-morrow, Friday February 24th, between 12.0. and 12.30.

We are, as you probably know, engaged in a considerable amount of research work on high speed high output Diesel engines, and are very anxious to obtain some reliable information as to the disadvantages in service of the anti-chamber type of Diesel engine. We should be very grateful if you could give us any information on this point, and upon one or two other features of design where you have an enormous amount of practical experience.

We are exceedingly glad to hear that you are getting such good results from the bearing material, which seems to confirm the findings of other people.

If you are making any petrol engines at all, I should like to interest you in a new piston we have developed.

Yours sincerely,
