Directive to continue with the original weldless tube propeller shaft due to failures with the experimental welded tube.

Typed: In view of the fact that we have not been able to get a test on the propeller shafts in France, and that failure of the propeller shaft is such a serious issue, I am satisfied that we should continue with the original material i.e. weldless tube, instead of the welded tube, which we are experimenting with.

Typed: The Order Office should therefore keep the Works going with the swaged down weldless tube type of propeller shaft, which has been our standard all along.
