With the existing induction pipe, the depression in the riser is the same as the main bore of the pipe, which means that there is some restriction in the induction pipe itself. We therefore require a new induction pipe with a main bore of 1.750. The risers should be the same size as the bigger Stromberg carburetter, so that we can repeat tests with both types of carburetter. In this way, we may be able to make use of the larger carburetter.
