Roads good. Mostly dry.

A { Engine running very well. Pinking not so bad (Better petrol?)
Self-starter found inoperative on attempting to start up on landing at Dover.
Brakes O.K. One rear wheel skid on braking on greasy tramlines.
Steering stiffened up slightly. Tendency to slight wandering developing.

B { Oil leak from engine casing worse. Inside of bonnet now smothered with oil.

A and B will be examined at N. tomorrow.
