X. 2245 - Powers & Consumptions of Eagle engine.
X. 2934 - & Falcon "

With reference to the power and consumption curves which have been drawn out for the various series of Eagle and Falcon engines, you will recall that the consumptions and powers were taken with the carburetter adjusted for certain minimum consumptions, at 1600 R.P.M. in the case of Eagle series 1 to 5, 1700 R.P.M. in the case of the Eagle series 6 and 7, and 1700 R.P.M. in the case of Falcon series 1 and 2. Now that the normal speed of all Eagle engines is to be 1800 R.P.M., and that of Falcon engines series 1 and 2 to be 2000 R.P.M., would it be possible to obtain figures for powers and consumptions with the carburetters at new settings appropriate to the new normal speeds?

Kindly let me know if you can do anything in this matter. We should state that the information is required by Mr. Southern for the purpose of the Instruction Book.
