In answer to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}8/KT.16.5.33
I immediately got in touch with Mr. Faroux who informed me that the only car fitted with the Fleischel transmission is the inventor's car itself. This car is at the present time in Paris and if you wish to try it Mr. Faroux will make the necessary arrangements without mentioning who are the people who are trying it.

He says the car has been to England but Mr. Fleischel was not successful in doing any business over there and he does not think he will return for some time in any case.

He explained to me that this gear box is very similar to the Wilson but with the advantage of being able to use gears in the same manner as one does with an ordinary gear box and I presume he means one does not have to await a certain amount of engine revolutions before the gear, one requires to use, engages.

He tells me that in his opinion it is a very fine piece of mechanism but that it does not seem unduly complicated.

If there is any further information I can give you, kindly let me know and I shall be very pleased to do so.
