CHASSIS MATERIAL.

Referring to the Phantom chassis material for F.2, the position now is as follows :

1/- We are making the whole series of crankshafts with the oval flange, the rest of the crankshaft to be standard. The slipper drive being the present standard. The oval on the crankshaft to be 3½" if possible.

2/- Present standard radiator should be used for the first 100 in F.2.

3/- The first half of F.2 series will be the present standard spare wheel carrier.

I do not propose to commit ourselves beyond F.2A for the last two items for the moment, as we wish if possible to bring in the improvements half way through.

20 HP. Chassis. Please note that for 'M' series, 20 HP. chassis, we shall use a crankshaft which will be standard except that the webs will be of the oval design. This particular form will carry right through the series. Connecting rods, etc. will be the standard Type.
