LID{A. J. Lidsey} X5250. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}17/H1.7.32. re. 25-HP. Radiator Shutter Failures. We have had a few cases of new 25-HP. Synchro Mesh chassis , and even complete cars on test with the water boiling, owing to stones getting into the shutters, causing them to jam. It is suggested that this might be overcome by having the shutters slightly shortened at the bottom end so that they will not become jammed with the stones which rest there. The front apron could also be extended upwards so as to cover the gap slightly caused by the shortened shutters. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} | ||
