X105 3 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth7/KW. 23rd March, 1935. The Zenith Carburetter Co.Ltd., 40-44, Newman Street, London, W.1. Your Ref: TLT/MB. Dear Sirs, Downdraught Carburetters. Regarding the two Downdraught Carburetters which you sent us on loan, we have confirmed that the 42 mm. size is too small for our purpose, and we propose to return this to you. The 48 mm. carburetter shows considerably more promise and we are continuing our tests with it. We should be obliged if you will let us have an invoice for the two carburetters, jets etc. which you sent us in the first instance, stating the prices which you would charge us for these parts in the event of our retaining them. Our tests have been held up during the last week or two, but we shall be resuming them in the near future. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
