To Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} X7250. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} 2/MJ.5.9.30. We fear that you may be unduly alarmed by the sketch of single point radiator mounting which we ran on 24-EX (Ms.299, attached). We should like to point out that this scheme is only for use in case of incorrigible 'jelliers' where complaints have been made, and that normally the diabolo rubber fittings will be used on production. The reason we fitted a cup over the spring was because your latest large diameter low rating spring looked rather unsightly protruding below the radiator cross member.
