(9) Stone guards could with advantage be fitted to the mudguards as they are already being starred by flying stones. (10) The brake drums look rather small for a fast Sports car. (11) It is very easy when changing from second to third to foul the first gear. As one seldom uses first I think some preventative measure could be adopted here to prevent damage to the first gear for this reason. (12) A more sloping front windscreen might possibly reduce the wind resistance and help the speed of the car. The screen is fairly upright for a Sports body and if by tilting this to a greater angle an advantage is to be gained in performance, I do not think it would create any disadvantage to the body. (13) An inside mirror instead of an outside mirror would reduce the wind pressure caused by the outside mirror. (14) Sun Vizors seem very necessary in this body, at least one in front of the driver. (15) The slope of the louvres on the bonnet, the slope of the back end of the bonnet and the slope of the front door all differ. I think these slopes should all be the same and if the slope of the windscreen is increased this will affect the whole lot of them to a greater extent than at present. | ||
