SALES DIRECTOR'S OFFICE.

9th March, 1935.

H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} West, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ld.,
DERBY.

Dear Mr. West,

Replying to yours of the 7th March, Ref. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.7/MA., in accordance with your wishes I am immediately arranging for instruments to be made up to incorporate both the new dial scheme and the concave glasses.

I am afraid, as you very rightly observe, that because of the tendency of these glasses to throw shadows the idea will not be favourably received although the bowed glass does have the effect of enhancing the instrument panel scheme generally.

Sincerely yours,
[Illegible Signature]
