R.R. 235 a(200 T)(S.F. 103, 25-10-18) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2244. Mr. Ormerod from BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to EH. c. to EFC. BY6/P2.5.19. X.2641. RE PUSH BUTTOM SWITCH FOR STARTER X.1362 Will you kindly note that Mr. Royce has finally decided that the push buttom switch should not be incorporated with any set of switches, nor should it be fixed on the instrument board as formally proposed. He has decided instead that it shall be fixed on the dash board and operated by foot. The object of this modification being, that since the starter has to be operated from the clutch, the use of the foot for the switch will make it impossible tp push out the clutch whilst operating the switch. The exact position of this on the dash board it would be best to arrange with Mr.Hives. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
