TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}) FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} ORIGINAL E1/M23.3.26. X8080 X5080 re. LOCKING FLOAT CHAMBER LID.{A. J. Lidsey} In reply to memos. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG19326. & BY3/H19326., I have looked into this matter and cannot see any better scheme for adoption than the one we use on RR.C.H. carburet-ters. It is evident that we must have a locking device. Probably the absence of the washer on the float chamber lid{A. J. Lidsey} accounts for it coming loose owing to lack of flexibility. Do you think the 20HP. carburetter lid{A. J. Lidsey} also requires locking? E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} [Handwritten Signature] [Upside-down stamp: RECEIVED 24 MAY 1926 H8] | ||
