STAYBRITE RADIATOR SHUTTERS.

We are returning for your examination one of the three shutters which were descaled by acid etching to produce a good matt finish.

This shutter has been exposed to the elements for a week and shows rather bad discolouration; and small black marks which appear to be the first step towards actual rusting, these marks cannot be removed by wiping with a cloth.

Oil and grease can be removed fairly successfully with a cloth without leaving so much stain as on the nickel matt shutters. One end of this shutter has been oiled and wiped off, it will be seen that this end of the shutter is slightly stained.

In view of the corrosion we do not think this method would prove suitable.
