I would point out that the front joint is close but it has been returned as correct. I find the cross joint boring is correct & that the whole trouble is due to the cross tube, as it was necessary to reduce its diameter in front to clear the radiator. Because of the reduced dia. with the close intersection the front joint must be practically an overhung bearing, except for its automatic method of taking thrust.
