Dear Sir, Our Ref.— 5868/P.5263.— Subject:— DYNAMO BRUSHES.— When our Mr. Lawrance had the pleasure of having an interview with you on the 28th December, it was suggested that you would like to obtain a little improvement in smoothness of running, i.e. to eliminate the "brush noise" which exists with the "Z" quality, which you find otherwise so satisfactory. We are quite prepared to assist you to experiment, and therefore send you some brushes for trial, as detailed hereafter. In the case of the graphitic grade "LFC3A-BS{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager}" of which only "Main" brushes are submitted, it is suggested that for the "Control" your present "Z" grade third brush should be used. We hope that from your test of these samples, you will find a combination which will provide the desired improvement, and would assure you of our interest.
