Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} 1300a 23.2.38. LOG BOOK. 32-EX. The tail bearing and the increased inertia flywheel on this car are a big improvement. The crankshaft period can hardly be felt on the clutch pedal. The car does not get away readily from cold. Is it running on Mobil-Arctic ? if not, it should be. The brakes squeak. The ride is most uncomfortable. The steering is good, but is it not unnecessarily heavy ? The clutch seems to be satisfactory. There is a whistle from the exhaust system - is this a blow, or due to absence of lagging ? The overdrive is one of the noisiest gears we have heard on an experimental car.
