Contd. -2- EFC1/T16.11.22. principle and entirely different of course from any of the acid batteries. You may know that we have a considerable number of Edison cells on some of the trucks which are running about the Works and our experience of these (refer to Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}) is that on the whole they are distinctly more suitable for that purpose than acid batteries which are ruined in a comparatively short while by the rough work. The particular X601C battery which we had, being of no further us to us, was handed over to Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} to help to make up further batteries for these trucks. EFC. | ||
