To EWT.) from EFC. for Cy.) X 2894 EFC4/T7.12.20. X.2894 - TUNGSTEN POINTS. With reference to Mr. Olley's note Cy7/G19.11.20 and further to our EFC4/T22.11.20, we are now handing over to Mr. Tonge for Mr. Olley six blades and screws of our standard battery ignition which we think Mr. Olley would like to pass on to the Fansteel Products Co. in U.S.A. to be fitted with Tungsten points for test. It will be remembered that we have provided the Tungsten Manfg. Co. in this country with a similar set, which we are expecting to receive back from them shortly. On the blade, the side on which the tungsten contact should appear is the side opposite to the counter-sinking. We mention this merely to avoid any possibility of error. We note from Cyll/G28.10.20 that Mr. Olley is obtaining contacts from the Fansteel Co., but our experience to date shows that we shall not find these successful unless they are actually fitted to the blades and screws by the manufacturers themselves. This is the reason we are now sending the six blades and screws referred to. EFC. | ||
